09 Jul LOVE = REACH Day 27
Jesus answered and said to her, “Whoever drinks of this water will thirst again, but whoever drinks of the water that I shall give him will never thirst. But the water that I shall give him will become in him a fountain of water springing up into everlasting life.” John 4:13-14 (NKJV)
- Living Water is a life-flowing source of water
- Dead Water is a source of water that has no flow
You have been given something that, if released, could powerfully heal broken hearts, encourage the depressed, bring purpose to others, stimulate the lonely to reach out, revitalize confidence, overcome damage by an abusive background, and give courage to the weary.
You see, going to church, more than anything else, means – connecting with others. (Ephesians 4:15-16). Being a Christian means more than being forgiven. It means you possess the life of Christ. It means out of your belly flows living water. The same power that was released in everything Christ did, is equipped inside of you. Do we truly understand what Christ can do through our lives as we do life with others?
People don’t always need a sermon. They don’t need a Sergeant giving them rigid commands, or a Surgeon trying to figure out what is happening inside, or a Psychologist digging through why they are the way they are – looking at their past to fix them. People need someone who has life inside of them that will flow out and be released. We have living water inside of us that needs to flow to others. You were designed to do reach and impact others!
